Flax Seed Spritz

Flax Seed Spritz

  • 1 part FSG
  • 1 part Aloe Vera Juice
  • 1-2 part Water (optional)

When the temp goes above 60º F the humectant in my Glycerine Spritz attracts a lot of moisture and makes maintaing a style nearly impossible because my hair becomes so poofy. So, I switch over to my Flax Seed Spritz.

Make Flax Seed Gel (my recipe is here) and let cool. Pour all ingredients into spray bottle. Shake. And you’re ready to mist and moisturize. Store in fridge.

Tip I freeze part of my FSG to make it last longer and use part of my batch for spritz or other recipes. I keep it frozen for no longer than 2 months.

Check out Puff Apothecary at www.puffapothecary.com or visit us every Wednesday from 5-8 pm for hair happy hour at BRIM in Dayton, Ohio.

    1. I really love it too! I’m always trying to finds ways to use FSG more and this spritz is a really quick way to moisturize. If I’m trying to maintain a style, I’ll just do my ends.
